About

Mission Statement

As an independent candidate, my mission is to bring about positive change and improvements for the benefit of all Dublin Northwest residents. To achieve this, I will listen to the concerns and ideas of my constituents and work collaboratively with local residents and community groups to find solutions to our challenges. I am committed to transparency and accountability in government, and will always be a responsive and accessible representative for my community. I believe that by working together and prioritizing the needs of our residents, we can build a brighter future for all.

Experience

Tidy towns work

I have been a longtime volunteer in my local community, for over 15 years. In the past, I have served on the board of the Whitehall Ballymun Partnership and I am currently chairman of Santry Tidy Towns.

Since founding Santry Tidy Towns in 2020, I have been working hard on the ground in Santry and working on behalf of the people of Santry and surrounding areas, and I regularly liaise with both local authorities Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council, whilst maintaining a good working relationship with many of the current elected city and county councillors.

Over the last number of years I have been completing a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy which I believe has helped me to develop strong listening and communication skills, which are essential for effectively representing and advocating for Dublin Northwest constituents.

I also have a keen interest in technology and I am eager to utilise tech to streamline the workflows of local authorities, and also to provide greater transparency around expenditure.
