Update regarding the Swords to Dublin City Centre Bus Corridor Scheme – An Bord Pleanála, the body overseeing planning decisions on the upgrading of Bus Connects, has issued a letter dated January 25, 2024, case reference number ABP-317121-23.
The usual process requires that such developmental plans must be decided within 18 weeks of submission. However, due to the complexity and significance of this project, the Board has indicated that the standard timeframe may not suffice for thorough consideration and proper decision-making.
Nonetheless, An Bord Pleanála is committed to resolving this matter expediently and aims to conclude their deliberations by March 22, 2024. They assure that all necessary steps will be taken to reach a decision by this revised date, ensuring that the Swords Road Bus Connects project receives the attention and rigor it deserves.
